CepaCom is a wonderful AAC device. (2008)
"Since i am very disabled because of sclerosis, CepaCom has been a wonderful AAC device for me. I have used it for both conversations and calling of assistance. I do not have much power and have found it nice not to hold a telephone by hand. CepaCom also has the advantage that i can operate it with my thumb and conduct long conversations with my friends. I can also easily write and recieve SMS. I had the system subsidized by the public system and can only recommend it to others.

"As wife to a person with ALS, I see Cepa Mobility as a company that has an innovative product unlike any other. It is a company that offers huge benefits to the people they service. The CepaCom is very useful to us both, since we are better equipped to preserve our privacy. This is very important to us both, especially Jens.
CepaCom contributes to a life independant of the many nurses surrounding us. Independance means a lot to me as a spouse, since it affects Jens in a positive way and heightens his dignity as a human being. At the same time, we can maintain the ethics around a persons life lot better when being seriously ill and dying.
For me the CepaCom has made a lot of daily things more easy. We can communicate more easily and faster and i have never gotten so many text messages. It is fun and delightful and we write a lot to each other.
Jens has no spoken language anymore. Before it was a huge irritation to keep a conversation going. I experienced myself being exhausted because of my inability to understand Jens. Often I had to guess a lot without coming to a clear understanding of what he wanted to say. CepaCom has changed all that.
So we have both been helped a lot in our daily lives with Cepa Mobilitys solution. Im no longer powerless when we communicate and I become less angry. We have Cepa to thank for that. We have both experienced a very fine service incredible drive to make things work.
When dealing with ALS patients, it is extremely important to act now and be ahead of things to come. Cepa has shown a very fine understanding for the disease and has kept Jens in a tight focus throughout the period of mounting and the following up. At the same time Cepa has cared for Jens and has shown the right kind of empathy in the situation."

"When you slowly loose your ability to move and speak due to ALS it is fantastic that CepaCom enables you to stay in contact with your friends and family. Unfortunately my friend has this terrible disease but in spite of that he is able to receive, write and send text messages from his hospital bed by using a CepaCom.
